True to Orthodox tradition, the interior creates a whole new world of color and light where the material beauty reflects the fundamental insights of Orthodox theology. The sanctuary is adorned with richly colored iconography - sacred images that are not merely decorative but serve as windows connecting heaven and earth. At the heart of the church stands the Altar or Holy Table, which serves as the focal point of worship where the Eucharistic gifts are offered. Behind the Altar rises a large cross bearing the image of Christ.
